Microsoft and HP have teamed up to bring you an intensive, 8-hour class focused exclusively on developing for Windows Mobile-based devices. Part of the HP Virtual Classroom Series, this session covers everything you need to know to take your code mobile. The training takes place on June 15 and 16. Two time slots are available–11 a.m. - 3 p.m. EDT or 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. EDT. Event ID — Session 1: 303702. Session 2: 303703

Windows Mobile 5.0

Microsoft announced Windows Mobile 5.0 (formerly known as “Magneto”) yesterday at MEDC 2005.  Materials from Bill Gates’ keynote (transcript, webcast, PowerPoint slides) are available from Microsoft’s website.  A portal for Windows Mobile 5.0 materials is now live as well.

Downloads for the Pocket PC SDK and Smartphone SDK are now available from Microsoft.
